12:00 - 1:00  Picasso Heads:  You don't have to be an artist to create Masterpieces  like Picasso.  All you need
is to bring a friend and a smile.  It's impossible to make a mistake when you're not looking at your
drawing--the weirder it looks, the better! --with Colleen Traub, elementary art teacher in the West Genesee
District

1:00  Storytime with Miss Sue --"Monsters!"      (followed by )

1:30 - 2:00 "Monsters Under the Porches!"  -- Create your own monster using an ink  blot, a straw and an
active imagination

ONGOING at the Hands on Art Center:  
Watch Potter Shawn McGuire from Clayscapes Pottery, Inc. demonstrate how to use a pottery wheel--and
make it look way easier than it is.

Join Tom Montague, art teacher at Most Holy Rosary, in creating an artistic rendering of Community and
Communication.  Based on the game of telephone using two tin cans attached with a string,  Tom will be
creating an interactive work which will evolve as you interact with it.  

Sidewalk art:  Grab a random square and draw it on the grid--help create a mystery work of art--when a
community comes together beautiful things happen!  (weather dependent)

Make a Mess-terpiece! Play, Create, Learn...HAVE FUN!  (for kids of all ages)
